Where to eat at Málaga Airport: restaurants, cafés and bars by area

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is one connected terminal, and its food and drink sits in three places: a small offer before security on Floor 0 (arrivals hall) and Floor 1 (check-in), the main offer after security on Floor 1, and two easily missed outlets on Floor 2, also after security. This page sorts every café, bar and restaurant Aena publishes by where you can reach it and when it is open.

Opening hours below were checked on 9 October 2026. Some come from Aena's own outlet pages and some only from Aena's interactive map data, which can be out of date; we say which is which. Aena warns that several outlets change their hours with the flight schedule, so confirm on Aena's shops and restaurants directory or at the outlet on the day.

How to read the opening hours on this page

All hours were checked on 9 October 2026. Where an hour is marked "map data", it comes only from Aena's interactive airport map, which Aena does not date per outlet and which contains some stale entries, so treat it as a guide. Aena itself says BiBo and MasQMenos may change their hours with flight schedules and that Soho Coffee CO closes after the last flight. Check Aena's directory or the outlet sign before you rely on a closing time.

Where should you eat?

You are flying from Málaga

Clear security first. Floor 1 after security has the widest choice, including two outlets that never close, and Floor 2 has Burger King and La Boutique.

You are flying outside the Schengen area

Eat after security but before you join the departures passport queue. Aena does not publish any food outlet beyond passport control.

You are meeting someone or not flying

Stay before security: Pret a Manger, La Manon and Buena Pinta in the Floor 0 arrivals hall, or Starbucks, Lavazza, Farine, MasQMenos and Burger King on Floor 1.

You have just landed

Aena publishes no food outlet between the aircraft and the arrivals hall. Once in the hall, Pret a Manger is open 24 hours and La Manon until 01:30.
Quick answer

Most food at Málaga Airport is after security on Floor 1, with two more outlets on Floor 2. Four outlets are listed as open 24 hours: Pret a Manger (Floor 0) and Starbucks (Floor 1) before security, and Costa Coffee and Giraffe World Kitchen after security. The earliest airside opening is 04:00, and La Manon in the arrivals hall stays open until 01:30. Aena does not say which outlets are beyond departures passport control, so on a non-Schengen flight eat before you join the passport queue.

Hours checked

9 October 2026; confirm with Aena on the day.

Open 24 hours, very early and late

Four outlets are listed as open 24 hours, checked on 9 October 2026:

  • Pret a Manger – Floor 0, arrivals hall, before security (map data).
  • Starbucks – Floor 1, check-in level, before security (Aena outlet page).
  • Costa Coffee – Floor 1, after security (Aena outlet page).
  • Giraffe World Kitchen – Floor 1, after security; the only sit-down restaurant listed as open round the clock (Aena outlet page).

Early flights. Málaga has a busy departure wave before 06:00. After security, Buena Pinta is listed from 04:00 (map data); BiBo, MasQMenos and Express & Co. from 04:30; Giraffe Stop, Jamie's Deli, Hungry Club, San Miguel and the airside Starbucks from 05:00. Before security at that hour you have only Starbucks and Pret a Manger, so for a meal rather than a coffee, go through security early.

Late evening. After security, Giraffe Stop and Buena Pinta are listed until 23:00 and Foodies, Express & Co. and BiBo until 22:00, with Costa Coffee and Giraffe World Kitchen open all night. Before security, everything apart from Starbucks and Pret a Manger closes by 22:00, except La Manon in the arrivals hall, which Aena lists until 01:30.

A 24-hour listing is not a guarantee. Treat it as the published position and check on the day, especially in the quieter winter months.

Before security: Floor 0 and Floor 1

Food before security is open to everyone, including people who are not flying. Aena calls this the public zone (zona pública).

Floor 0, arrivals hall

  • Pret a Manger – café and takeaway, 24 hours (map data).
  • La Manon – café and bakery, 07:00–01:30 (Aena outlet page).
  • Buena Pinta – beer, wine and tapas, 06:00–22:00 (map data).

Floor 1, check-in and departures level

  • Starbucks – 24 hours (Aena outlet page).
  • Coffee&Bakery Lavazza – coffee and takeaway, 06:00–20:00 (map data).
  • MasQMenos – beer, wine and tapas in what Aena calls an exterior area of the departures level, 07:00–20:30; Aena says hours may change with flight schedules.
  • Farine – café and bakery, 08:00–19:00 (map data).
  • Burger King – fast food, 10:00–17:00 only (Aena outlet page).

The weak point before security is a hot meal: Burger King's 10:00–17:00 window is the shortest of any food outlet at the airport. Dehesa Santa María (jamón and tapas, 06:00–21:00) is on Floor 1 too, but Aena's outlet page places it in the passenger-only zone after security, so if you are not flying, do not plan on it.

After security: Floor 1

Most of the airport's food is here, in what Aena calls the passenger-only zone (zona exclusiva para pasajeros). You need a boarding pass to reach it. Aena does not tie any food outlet to a specific gate area, so we cannot tell you which is nearest your gate.

Open round the clock: Costa Coffee and Giraffe World Kitchen.

Sit-down restaurants:

  • BiBo Flamenco Bar & Tapas by Dani García – 04:30–22:00, may change with flights (Aena outlet page).
  • Giraffe World Kitchen – 24 hours (Aena outlet page).
  • Jamie's Deli – 05:00–21:30 (Aena outlet page).
  • Hungry Club – 05:00–22:00 (map data).
  • Deliquo con Amore – Italian, two units, both 06:00–22:00 (map data).
  • Olé Food Market – Spanish food market. Aena publishes no opening hours for it.

Tapas, beer and wine: Buena Pinta (04:00–23:00, map data), MasQMenos (04:30–21:30, may change with flights), San Miguel (05:00–21:00, map data), San Miguel Box Bar (08:00–21:00, map data) and Dehesa Santa María (06:00–21:00, Aena outlet page).

Coffee, quick food and takeaway: Express & Co. (04:30–22:00, map data), Giraffe Stop (05:00–23:00), Starbucks (05:00–21:30; this is a separate unit from the 24-hour one before security), Soho Coffee CO (06:00–21:30, closing after the last flight) and Foodies (06:00–22:00, map data).

After security: Floor 2

Floor 2 is easy to miss, and it is usually worth the lift or stairs if Floor 1 is crowded. Aena lists two food outlets here, both after security:

  • Burger King – 08:00–21:30 (Aena outlet page). This is a different unit from the short-hours Burger King before security.
  • La Boutique – 09:30–20:00 (Aena outlet page). Aena describes it as a varied, fast selection of Mediterranean Italian products with pastries, desserts, ice creams and smoothies.

The VIP Lounge Costa del Sol is also on Floor 2. See our lounges guide if you would rather eat there.

Flying outside the Schengen area

Málaga's shops, restaurants and the VIP lounge are past security. Aena does not publish which of them are also past passport control, which is the check most UK- and other non-Schengen-bound passengers go through. If you are flying outside the Schengen area, do your shopping and eating, and use the lounge, before you join the passport queue. Once your gate shows on the screens, go to it, which is Aena's own advice at this airport.

This is a gap in Aena's information, not a statement that there is nothing to eat beyond passport control. We will update this page if Aena publishes it. For how the controls work, see our security guide.

Arriving in Málaga: nothing to eat until the arrivals hall

Aena publishes no food outlet between the aircraft and the arrivals hall. In that stretch you will find vending machines, drinking fountains and the Málaga Arrivals Shop (09:00–21:30, Aena outlet page), but no café or restaurant.

Once you walk out into the Floor 0 arrivals hall:

  • Pret a Manger is listed as open 24 hours (map data).
  • La Manon is open until 01:30 (Aena outlet page), the most useful option after a delayed evening flight.
  • Buena Pinta runs 06:00–22:00 (map data).

If you land after 01:30, the only outlets Aena lists as open are Pret a Manger on Floor 0 and the 24-hour Starbucks one level up on Floor 1. Both are before security, so arriving passengers and the people meeting them can use them. Pret a Manger or La Manon also make an easy meeting point. For the rest of the arrivals process, see our arrivals guide.

Andalusian and Spanish food

The best-known local name is BiBo Flamenco Bar & Tapas by Dani García, the Marbella-based chef. Aena places it after security on Floor 1 in what it calls the airport's gourmet area, brought to the airport by the catering operator Areas.

Other Spanish options Aena lists are Olé Food Market (after security, no hours published), MasQMenos (both before and after security), Dehesa Santa María (jamón and charcuterie, after security per Aena's outlet page), Buena Pinta (both before and after security) and the two San Miguel bars after security.

Buying jamón, chorizo or cheese to take home? Rules for carrying meat and dairy differ by destination, and Great Britain and Northern Ireland are treated differently. See our shops and duty-free guide before you buy.

Skip the queue: Food to Fly

Aena's Food to Fly service lets you order food and drink in advance on the website (foodtofly.es, which leads to foodtofly.aena.es) or in the Aena app, then collect it at an identified delivery point. You can register or continue as a guest.

Málaga-Costa del Sol is listed on the Food to Fly platform. However, Aena does not publish which Málaga outlets take part or where the collection points are, so check in the app when you order rather than assuming your favourite outlet is included. Food to Fly is a separate service from Aena's Shop to Fly, which does not currently list Málaga (see our shops guide).

Dietary needs, prices and drinking water

Allergens and special diets. Aena publishes no allergen, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or children's-menu information for any food outlet in the terminal. Ask staff at the counter, and if you have a serious allergy, carry food you know is safe. The only dietary information Aena publishes at Málaga is for the VIP Lounge Costa del Sol, which lists gluten-free and special-diet food and kosher and halal options.

Prices. Aena publishes no prices or price bands for any outlet, so we cannot give you a reliable figure.

Water. Aena maps drinking fountains around the terminal, most of them after security, and vending machines on both sides. Bring an empty bottle through security and refill it.

Problems with an outlet are handled first by the outlet itself, then by Aena as the airport operator; see our contact page for how this site differs from Aena.

Travel tips

  • Before 06:00, go through security early: airside outlets open from 04:00, while before security only Starbucks and Pret a Manger are open.
  • Flying outside Schengen? Eat before you join the departures passport queue; Aena publishes no food beyond it.
  • Two Starbucks units have different hours: the one before security is 24 hours, the one after security is 05:00–21:30.
  • Landside hot food is thin: Burger King before security opens only 10:00–17:00.
  • Landing late? La Manon in the arrivals hall is listed until 01:30, and Pret a Manger is listed as open 24 hours.
  • Bring an empty bottle and refill it at a drinking fountain after security.
  • Treat hours as a guide and confirm on Aena's directory, especially outside the summer season.

Can I eat after passport control?
Aena does not publish which outlets are beyond departures passport control, so this cannot be answered from official information. If you are flying outside the Schengen area, eat before you join the passport queue.
I land late. Where can I get food?
La Manon in the Floor 0 arrivals hall is listed until 01:30, and Pret a Manger on the same floor is listed as 24 hours. After 01:30 the only other option Aena lists is the 24-hour Starbucks on Floor 1, also before security.

No food outlet is published by Aena between the aircraft and the arrivals hall. You will find vending machines, drinking fountains and the Málaga Arrivals Shop (09:00–21:30).
Is there Andalusian food at the airport?
Yes. BiBo Flamenco Bar & Tapas by the Marbella chef Dani García is after security on Floor 1, alongside Spanish options such as Olé Food Market, MasQMenos, Dehesa Santa María, Buena Pinta and San Miguel.

Are there vegan or gluten-free options?
Aena publishes no dietary or allergen information for any terminal outlet. Ask at the counter. The only dietary information Aena publishes at Málaga is for the VIP Lounge Costa del Sol.
How expensive is food at Málaga Airport?
Aena publishes no prices or price bands for any outlet, so we cannot give a reliable figure.
Are the published opening hours reliable?
Treat them as a guide. Aena says some outlets change hours with the flight schedule, and some hours come only from Aena's map data. Confirm on Aena's directory or at the outlet.
